What is a dedicated pool?

If you are using .net hosting you will probably have seen 'dedicated pool' mentioned. You can use this to give your website its own environment. With this you will no longer use the standard shared environment but your website will have its own environment.

You will often notice that your website is a lot faster and safer. In addition, you also have the advantage that you can restart the pool yourself if necessary or desired. For example, if something goes wrong in the shared application pool, you will not be affected because your website is running on its own environment. If you want to use a dedicated pool on a Total package then this is available as an add-on. The costs are €49.00 excluding VAT per year. You can request this through our ticket system.
