Create htaccess on your hosting space
htaccess is a file that can be created in your webspace. It can be used to make a number of settings within your website. The htaccess file has a lesser role at MijnHostingPartner.nl because we work with Windows servers. Many things that Linux would be set within the htaccess file is in our web.config file in the wwwroot. For example, if you want to rewrite an url what you would normally do in htaccess you do here in the web.config.
If you want to create a htaccess file you can do this through websites in the control panel, or you can use FTP to create the file.
caution! An htaccess file cannot be created through the file manager.
When you go to the control panel and log in with your credentials you can go to Websites and select the htaccess tab. After this you come to the following screen: 
With "add htaccess" you can add the correct file and edit it. Here you can add a range of options. 
Alternatively you can create a htaccess file via an FTP client such as filezilla in the following way.
Within Filezilla you can use the right mouse button to add a new file, this is called as above.
Then you can edit this file via FTP and edit the file with your wishes 
If you have further questions you can always see if someone is on the online chat.
Or you can create a ticket in the customer panel.
