Managing and creating MS SQL databases

To create an MS SQL database through the Customer Panel at MijnHostingPartner.nl or manage an existing database, you can do so in the following way:

First log into the Customer Panel and go to My Products from the Dashboard:

After this, go to the product again

Then select the databases option from the left menu

And select the tab MS SQL (Your database version), if you do not have this tab in the customer panel then you can order the add on via the menu Order Addons, if this is already ordered then create a ticket for this. Then we will check it.

After this you can create the database, user and password for this. This is always better to keep it short and also related to the website. With multiple databases you can lose the overview.

After saving you get to the overview of the databases again, here you can select the database again with the edit icon to further view the data and change it where necessary.

After this, the MSSQL database can be used in Visual Studio, Management Studio and, for example, for your Umbraco website.

An MSSQL database cannot be managed like MySQL and MariaDB can with PHPmyAdmin. You must have local software for this.
