Letter carrier SMTP plugin

Besides the SMTP plugin which we always recommend you can also use other plugins. One of them we also tested is the Postman plugin.

You will need some more advanced settings to make this work.


Go to the settings within the plugin and start the Wizard, enter your email address where the mail should come from. This does not have to be the email address you use to login to the SMTP authentication.






Enter the host for outgoing traffic, this is at least smtp.mijnhostingpartner.nl










Select the following options:




Next enter the email address you will be using for SMTP authentication. This is the email address created within the same domain or subdomain. And so you can also log in to the webmail.





After this to test you can send a test email to your email address as created in your webhosting.
