Moving your website with our relocation service.

This article explains how you can move a website to us using the MijnHostingPartner.nl relocation service. When you order this service our employees will transfer your website for you. This way you don't have to do any extra work yourself and you can move without any problems.

What we need from you if you want to use this service is a working FTP account to your current hosting. Also some database information is required. This way we can take care of the website files and database.

Alternatively, a zip file can be delivered containing your database and website. This can be done in two ways. You can send us a ticket with a link where you can download the file. Or you can send it to us in an email to: info@mijnpartnergroep.nl

How long will it take before my site is transferred?
When we have received the necessary data from you then this can be completed the same day. If this takes unexpectedly longer we will always report this in a ticket.

What we are moving:

- Your website files.
- Any databases.
- Associated database users are created with us.

What we do not move:

- Email addresses will not be moved, this can however be created when you request this.
- Email messages/inboxes are never moved! So always make a local backup first.


Once we have given feedback when the files are ready, the domain can be moved. This means that also the nameservers (NS records) will be converted and the domain is completely transferred to our servers. This happens when it is convenient for you.

When the work is finished you can use your site again, but on our servers!
