Email setup - Gmail

This is an article to explain how you can set up your webmail account on your gmail environment.
1. There should first be checked whether you can log in with this account that you can do via this link.

2. If that is successful and we have checked that you can log in with your email address and password, you can then
go
towww.gmail.com
and log in with an existing gmail address.

3. The step that follows is to go to the settings of gmail (cog in the upper right)


4. Then click on the Accounts and Import tab .
And click on Add another email address you own. Go to the next screen.

5. Then you need to enter the following information in the yellow screen that comes up.
Name: your email address or the name you want to make visible to your customers/contacts.
Email address : your email address what you made with us.
Treat as an alias : when ticked it will be seen as an account, when unchecked it will be seen as a seperate account. For more information you can click on the link next to this option.
Click on Add Account


6. On the next screen we see the smtp settings. The following information needs to be entered:

The smtp server should always be smtp.mijnhostingpartner.nl entered.
At port 25 must be selected. Or 587Then
your email address and password.
Checked must be TLS
Then press Add Account again.

7. Then you can login to your webmail via webmail.mijnhostingpartner.nl and copy the verification code.
That you paste in the screen of google. And press Verify8


. Finally, you can see in the home screen if the account is there with the correct settings.
