Yes all our servers are located in the Netherlands in different locations all near the 'source'. For example we have servers in Telecity 2 and Telecity 5.

Free cooling is used in many of the data centers, which offers considerable potential for savings. In addition, investments have been made in the technology for measuring air and heat flows. Based on the measurement data, customers are advised on how to configure the equipment in the most energy-efficient way.

- TelecityGroup has achieved certification for ISO 14001, the standard for environmental management systems. ISO 14001 is an internationally recognised accreditation for organisations that demonstrate excellent environmental management through a rigorous certification process. The certification highlights TelecityGroup's ongoing commitment to both increasing the energy efficiency of its existing data centres and developing "state of the art" new sites.
- The Carbon Trust Standard is the world's first carbon award that requires companies to measure, control and reduce their carbon emissions. The certificate achieves 50% of the Early Action Metrics for assessing performance within the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme. (formerly Carbon Reduction Commitment)
- With our membership of the The Green Grid, we play a role in raising awareness among developers and end users of data center technology. This global consortium has an advisory role across the industry on best practices, metrics and technologies that improve the overall energy efficiency of data centers and business digital ecosystems.
- We also have Corporate Status within the European Code of Conduct for Data Centers, the EU Code of Conduct. This code of conduct aims to promote the deployment of best practices in data centers. A previously completed audit confirms that all of our data centers meet the guidelines of the code of conduct in the area of energy efficiency.
- Our ongoing commitment to energy efficiency has recently been rewarded with a 1st place ranking within our own sector and a 16th place overall ranking for "Community and Evironmental Responsibility" in Management Today's annual "Britain's Most Admired Companies" awards.
