My domain name is in quarantine, what now?

In the unlikely event that you forget to pay the bill, your domain name can be released by the system after a certain period of time. Many providers have agreed that there should then be an overlap phase so that the domain owner can still get their domain name back.

This overlap phase, also known as quarantine, is different for each domain extension, but lasts an average of 40 days. Getting a domain name out of quarantine is associated with costs. These costs also vary depending on the extension, and it also depends on whether we have owned the domain name or whether we have to take it out of quarantine with another provider.

Below you will find the most common extensions and the amounts involved. If the extension in question is not listed, you can contact us via a ticket to the administration.
