Email setup - Windows phone

To set up an email account on a Windows Phone the following steps are required:

You go to the start menu and select Settings.
Then you choose Email & Accounts.
Add an account > Other Account
After this you can enter the data that was created in the control panel.
Such as Email address and password. If you have not yet created an email address then this can be created on the following link.
After this press Advanced and check the following data:

Account name

Type a descriptive name for the account.

This is the account name that is displayed on your phone.

Your name

Type your name.

This is the name displayed for the email messages you send from this account.

Server for incoming email

Type the name of the server for incoming email.

Here you can choose from IMAP or POP, the following addresses are then applicable:

pop.myhostingpartner.nlimap
.myhostingpartner.nl

Account type

Tap POP3 or IMAP4, this depends on your choice

Username

Type your username, this is the email address you created.

Password

Type the corresponding password

Server for outgoing e-mail (SMTP)

Type the name of the server for outgoing email. This is always
:smtp.mijnhostingpartner.nl

The outgoing server requires authentication

This setting must be checked.

Use the same account details for sending email

This setting must be checked.

After this, you can log in and use your email account.
