E-mail setup - Mailspring

The following steps can be followed to set up the MijnHostingPartner.nl email address in the Mailspring email application. This is an open source email client and offers basic features and most importantly a clean and calm look for managing your email addresses.

Before you start with the article, please check your email address and password in our webmail to make sure they are correct. You can do this via the following link:

https://webmail.mijnhostingpartner.nl/

Step 1: Start Mailspring and add a new e-mail address. Select the IMAP SMTP option here.

Step 2 Enter your e-mail address and the corresponding password and continue with the next step.

Step 3 Adjust the data to the following values, these are supported by most Internet providers. If you want to see all supported ports, you can also have a look at the following link:

So if it does not work with the values shown, you can adjust them to the other ports and securities if necessary.

The server names should at least use our domain name, i.e:

imap.mijnhostingpartner.nl and smtp.mijnhostingpartner.nl.

And not your own domain name.

Step 4 You can then continue with Connect account and adjust the final configuration to your liking. The e-mail address is now ready for use.
