What is Exchange?
Exchange is a piece of software developed by Microsoft, the intention of the software is to have your contacts, calendar points and email on all devices. How they achieve this is by creating an Outlook version in an online environment. The Outlook environment works with all devices where the email address is active and shares all files and contacts.
With Exchange you have the ability to access your email anytime, anywhere. Whether through the browser or on your phone or PC.
Operating systems that are supported are for example:
- Windows
- Mac OSX
- IOS
- Android
- Windows Phone
So you can set up your email on almost any device or program. The advantages of Exchange are also additional SPAM protection and better reliability.
Also, contact persons and calendar are synchronized on each device or login. So you always have your contacts and calendar at hand. In this way there is always a backup of your Exchange account.
When you do not have an email client like Outlook installed on a temporary PC you can always access your entire mail account through the browser at https://owa.zeptor.eu.
If you already have existing email accounts with MijnHostingPartner.nl then Hosted Exchange cannot be run next to them. It's either IMAP /POP or Exchange. It's not possible to run both at the same time.
The cost of Exchange is divided into how much space is available per user.
5 GB per user costs €3.99 ex vat per month
15 GB per user costs are: €4.95 ex VAT per month
25 GB per user costs are: €6.95 ex vat per month
