Sync webmail, calendar, contacts and tasks with Microsoft Outlook

Synchronize webmail with Outlookusing the 'Add-to-Outlook' feature.


SmarterMail (webmail) supports the two-way synchronization of SmarterMail calendars, contacts and tasks with Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2010.Although the steps below show you how to synchronize your SmarterMail calendar with Outlook, the procedure is similar for synchronizing contacts and tasks.

Follow the steps below to synchronizeyour SmarterMail calendar with Outlook using the web interface:

1. From the computer on which Microsoft Outlook is installed log in to the SmarterMail web interface.
2. Click on the calendar icon.
3. Click on the Actions menu and then Add to Outlook in the navigation toolbar.
4. This opens a new window that contains details about the connection you are about to make to Outlook. you can leave it default descriptions or you can fill in your own details in the appropriate fields.
5. Click on OK.
6. Open the window start. Click on OK to open Outlook start.
7. To start SmarterMail connect to Outlook, Click Yes.

Your SmarterMail and Outlook calendars will now be synchronized and any changes you make to the cal endars will be updated in real time.
