Microsoft Paint
Microsoft Paint no longer comes standard with Windows
Everyone who has worked with Windows has at some time or another worked with Paint. It is an image editing program that has been included with Windows since Windows 1.0 in 1985. So since day 1, the program has been included with Windows. After the creators update from April 2017, the program Paint 3D is now included by default. This is similar to Paint but is a heavier program. So a quick start to put an arrow to an option is still there. You will only have to wait a little longer.
Paint has always had the advantage of a simplistic look. All options are in view and it is "drag and drop". In addition, the program is always lightning fast to start up. In the chat conversations that MijnHostingPartner.nl has about webhosting it often happens that we send a screenshot that has been edited with Paint. A picture speaks a thousand words and helps you quickly as a customer.
Microsoft made an announcement for this on Monday 24-7-2017. Paint will no longer be updated and will disappear from the forefront. However, the program will still be available for download in the Windows 10 store in the near future.
Paint 3D
Paint 3d is the program that will replace the old Paint. As mentioned, it is a somewhat heavier program with more functions than Paint. What the name already tells you, it is now also possible to create 3D illustrations. The interface of Paint 3D has also been made suitable for touch screens.
Editing images for your website.
If you want to create or edit images for your website you do not need to install another program. Just remember to compress images properly to keep the loading time of your hosting as short as possible! You can do this with GZIP and several tools to reduce the size. The images can become very large. For the fastest results of your hosting you should take an SSD hosting package. This ensures that your website can be loaded very quickly.
