New version of Webmail coming soon

The new version of the webmail is coming, this time it is a major update for both appearance and features. With our webmail hosting you can use any desktop or mobile browser to log into your mail account. This way you are always reachable.

Team workstations

SmarterMail 16 introduces team workspaces, with this you can invite an unlimited number of participants to work together. This collaboration goes for example with:

• Video chat up to 8 participants.
• Screen sharing.
• Group chat.
• Whiteboard for notes.
• Ability to upload and share files.

This allows you to work well together and you are always in contact with each other. This is especially easy when working at home or offsite. Simply create a workplace and share the link with your colleagues or customers. The workplace can be shared within your organization and beyond.

Group chat

What was already a function in SmarterMail is now even further expanded. You can also share files and view them without downloading them. You can easily drag a file and drop it in the chat. There is also support for chat clients such as Pidgin or Adium on your desktop.

Desktop notifications from your browser

A comment we often hear about the webmail is that it is harder to keep track of your mail. With an email client like Outlook you get a direct notification of this. Now SmarterMail also has browser based notifications. You get with a new mail, calendar item or chat directly a pop up on your desktop. This ensures that you can respond faster and you do not even have to open the webmail in a tab.
