With the launch of our ASP.NET Core hosting packages we quickly went along with all the version updates of ASP.NET Core 1.x. Now the preview has been released for ASP. NET Core hosting 2.0. MijnHostingPartner.nl is of course excited again for the new release. The stable version has been released at this moment and we have made it active on all our our ASP.NET Core Hosting packages. That way you can always use us using the latest technology of ASP.NET hosting.
The second preview of ASP.NET Core 2 brings templates for single page applications to Visual Studio 2017. Where ASP.Net Core first introduced templates introduced templates for Angular, Aurelia, Knockout and React in February. With the latest update to ASP.NET Core 2, it is now also possible to create these templates directly from the Visual Studio’s new web application dialog select. In the following list supported are:
  • Angular React.js
  • React.js & Redux
  • Aurelia and Vua are available for download
  • via additional packages.
ASP.NET Core 2 applications also go further again supporting legacy systems so also using the .NET framework. One of the goals of ASP.NET Core 2 is support for 2.0 and 4.6.1.
The kestrel web server sees several additional management and configuration options. Limits can now be set with the following parameters:
