Are .php files supported?

Yes this is supported by default on all our servers. There is no additional action required from your side to activate it.

If you want to create a .php file you can do this via the file manager or via an FTP program like Filezilla. And then you can edit the files in there too.
What is not supported on our servers are the short php tags. If you want to work with php you have to use the full tags.

So not:

<? ?> But rather

: <?php
