Turn on extended error messages

Prestashop, like many systems, has the option to turn on extended error messages across the entire website. This can be done in the following way through the file manager in the control panel.

Log into the control panel using the following link:

Go to the file manager and navigate to the config folder in the prestashop installation. Then open the defines.inc.php file and apply the following:




This will turn on the extended error messages and allow you to solve some problems in a more targeted way.
