How often should I update my website?
We have been getting more and more questions lately about how often a website should be updated. We recommend that you check your CMS for updates at least once a month. If you do not do this, your website can be abused.
Before you start updating you should make a backup of your files and database. After this you can easily perform the updates. To update WordPress you can use the following article: Updating WordPress.
If you get any error messages when updating then it is recommended to do so via FTP. If you still get an error message you can contact our helpdesk.
