Termination of contract / subscription

If you wish to cancel your contract or subscription, you can do so via the customer panel. Services must be cancelled at least 1 month in advance. This should be done before you receive the new invoice from us. Once an invoice is generated it needs to be paid. Keep this in mind! Cancellations by phone, mail and/or post will not be processed for security reasons. Services can only be cancelled via the customer panel.

1. Log in to the customer panel via customer service You log in with the e-mail address you registered with and the password you gave.

2. After logging in you will be directed to the Dashboard of your services at MijnHostingPartner.nl.

If you want to cancel your services (web hosting and domain registration) at once then go to 'Domains' and cancel the domain name. If there is a hosting package attached to this domain name then this will automatically be cancelled as well.

If you want to keep the domain name then cancel the hosting package under the heading 'My products'.

If you have multiple domain names under 1 package or only domain names registered then these can be terminated in the following way. If you have only 1 domain name under 1 product then this will also be automatically cancelled when you cancel the domain name.

Under Domains from the Dashboard you can click to get to the following screen. After this, select the domain you want to cancel in the same way.

After this go to the cancel tab, to cancel the domain name.

After this again enter the requested information and confirm this with the check mark "I am sure I want to cancel my product". For the domain name cancellation, please always select Cancelled at the end of the contract. This is to give you the opportunity to move the domain name if necessary.

1. Depending on your situation you can start with the cancellation under My Products.

2. Then click on the product you want to cancel with the edit icon. In this example the Total SSD 100 Hosting package linked to domain name (mijndemopartner.nl).

3. A new screen will open after which you can navigate to the menu item on the left to Cancellation. At the very bottom of the menu.

After this you fill in the requested information. And confirm with the appropriate check mark. "I am sure I want to cancel my product".

4. In the next screen you can enter the reason for cancellation and you can choose to cancel the package immediately or at the end of the subscription period. We always recommend choosing "Terminated at the end of the contract".

Note: If you cancel the service immediately, the hosting space will also be removed from the system immediately! The website and everything connected to it will be removed and cannot be restored. This includes any data! If you have done this by accident, please contact the helpdesk immediately. We will try to undo this.


If you cancel your account, we would appreciate your response and the reason why you cancel. MijnHostingPartner.nl is continuously working to improve its services and any input is highly appreciated.


As mentioned above the service needs to be cancelled at least 1 month in advance. This should be done before you receive the new invoice from us. This is partly because moving many domain name extensions takes 5 business days or longer. And this is if all goes well. If the move would only be entered on the penultimate day, then the domain name will actually be moved during the new contract period. So make sure that you initiate a transfer in time and that it is terminated in time via the customer panel.


5. We will then receive the cancellation request and it will be processed. You will receive confirmation of this by email.


If for any reason you are absolutely unable to make the payment on time and you wish to continue the subscription, please report this via the ticket system under your customer account. With good reason we will then continue the subscription and make a payment arrangement with you.
