Where should I put my files?

We get a lot of questions about where to place the files when you log in with your FTP data.

If you log in with your FTP program you will see the following:

In the wwwroot you need to place the files to make your website visible on the Internet. Please note that you still need to remove the file called default.htm.

In the data folder, you can place Microsoft Access database so that it is not accessible to visitors. You can then connect to your access database in the following way: Connection string ASP.NET / Access database
