5. Place the backup of the files and database with us on your hosting space
6. Create the mail accounts and import the mail

After these steps have been performed your website has been moved. Please note that you often have to change some configuration files. Think of the configuration for the database.

How do I move WordPress?

Moving a WordPress site can be done easily with a plugin. This plugin can be installed at the current host. The plugin takes care of a complete backup and an easy installation tool on our hosting space. This plugin Duplicator and is free to download from the WordPress website, this ensures that your web hosting space is easily back online with minimal effort.

Does MijnHostingPartner.nl have a hosting service?

If the above steps seem too much for you or if you don't have enough time for them, MijnHostingPartner.nl has a free relocation service where we will make sure everything will go smoothly. If you want to use this service you can select it during your order. We do need your FTP and database information to complete this. With those details we can retrieve everything from the hosting space. If you use a CMS (Content management system) then please provide us with the admin data of this as well via a ticket. For any maildata you are responsible.

We will make sure that some downtime is avoided by only switching the name servers of the domain when everything is ready. When the work is done we will convert it and it goes straight to us!
