For some time now we have added a new web hosting product to our hosting packages. This hosting product is an addition to the well-known Total Package but with the XL package we have no more limits.
This means that the data traffic, the disk space, the number of mail addresses and mail aliases, the number of subdomains and the number of MySQL databases you can use are unlimited!This is ideal for websites with a lot of content so that you have more than enough space to place all your content.
Are there no snags I hear you thinking? In principle not, but we do have a few rules that you should take into account.
SSD hosting
Not only is there unlimited web hosting but there are also many other different types of hosting.Often you as a user will not need unlimited space on your space unless you have a lot of content on it.
It is also possible to purchase a normal total package and host a WordPress website on it.A normal total package is sufficient for most users in terms of specifications.
There are exceptions however, for example when bringing a webshop online.A lot of products need to be loaded and therefore it could be that your website is a bit slow on a normal total package.
It's better to use SSD hosting, because it runs on an SSD disk.These are on average 40 to 60 percent faster than a normal hard drive.
This has to do with the techniques used in SSD drives, as there are no moving parts in them.In a normal hard drive are moving parts and here the speed depends.
Therefore, for a website with a lot of content it is always better to take an SSD drive because it will load a lot faster.For WordPress you can even purchase special hosting called Managed WordPress hosting.
Managed WordPress Hosting
WordPress is a content management system that is becoming more and more popular but needs to be maintained properly.This is mainly done by updating plugins, themes and WordPress itself.
