The renewed control panel

If you are using our hosting you might have seen it already. Today on November 16th there is maintenance on our control panel, you might wonder what the consequences are for your website.

For your website this will have no consequences and during the maintenance your website will remain accessible. However, some things will change in your control panel, especially the speed.

In this blog post we will go through some of the things that will change in your control panel.

The speed

One of the things that should be greatly improved is the speed of the control panel. You will notice that things should go a lot smoother, for example the file manager.

If you have a lot of large files in your website the file manager might be a bit slow. Fortunately that is now a thing of the past, you can navigate through it much faster so you can get on with your work.

This is not the only thing that has been greatly accelerated, also our webapp gallery has become a lot faster. This makes it easier to quickly install your desired CMS on your hosting.

The interface

If you start up the control panel now you will most likely notice that the icons have changed. Maybe you are now also worried that everything has changed, fortunately that is not the case.

Everything is still in the same place as before but the icons have changed. We hope that with this everything is a bit clearer than before so you can get started more easily.

Furthermore, the interface has not changed at all. It is just the old familiar control panel. The changes are mainly on the back-end and have to do with speed.

There are also many annoying bugs fixed so the use will be even smoother.
