Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen passed away Monday night. He suffered from lymphoma and passed away at the age of 65. The company that Paul Allen owned Vulcan inc stated this on behalf of the family in a press release.
Paul Allen co-founded Microsoft in 1975 with Bill Gates after they dropped out of college at Washington State University. In addition to his work at Microsoft, he was known as an extremely intelligent man and great philanthropist.

With his Paul G. Allen Family Foundation, he presumably donated over 2 billion euros to charity.
