Happy and healthy New Year - 2021 New customer panel
Dear Customer,
You may have already heard some things on social media or through one of our blog posts, but we have our new customer panel ready and want to go live in the new year.
Also, a major update to the control panel has been released and we want to implement that at the same time.
The new customer panel offers many advantages!
The special thing about the new customer panel is that it is much more user friendly, much faster and for a large part the control panel is woven into it. For the most important settings you do not have to log into the control panel but you can also perform these in the customer panel.
For example, you can change dns records, manage an ftp account, install WordPress (with a click) and create an email address. Under MijnPartnerGroep.nl we have several concepts. Besides MijnHostingPartner.nl we also have MijnWerkplekPartner.nl, MijnBackupPartner.nl and MijnVPSPartner.nl. In the new customer panel we have combined all these partners. Which means you only need one login for all concepts. And to reward our loyal customers, in 2021 we will also be issuing partner points that you can exchange for nice presents and/or discounts in our shop.
For example, we want to reward DUO verification (2FA) with partner points. DUO verification adds an extra layer of security to our customer panel. If this is activated, in addition to your username and password, you will also need to log in with an extra code that will be sent to your mobile phone. More information about this can be found on our website.
All relevant history will be transferred from the old clientpanel
Despite the fact that we want to start with a clean slate as much as possible with our new client panel, we have transferred all relevant history from the old client panel. This includes the ticket history, invoice history and mail history.
When will the work be done?
The work will be performed on January 16, starting at 10:00 and ending around 18:00. During the work on the customer panel you can not log in. The expectation is that this will be possible again from 14:00. The work on the control panel will be phased and is expected to last until 18:00 at the latest. Please keep in mind that there will be inconvenience throughout the day. We will report on our announcements page when all work has been completed.
Because we are switching to a new customer panel we are unfortunately forced to reset all passwords. This may cause some customers irritation but unfortunately we cannot transfer the passwords from the old customer panel because they are encrypted.
It is therefore important that, as soon as the work is finished, you perform a password recovery via our website and set a new password.
